Professional artist and naturalist Raney Rogers will teach you to learn to layer with light, color and textures to create realistic natural paintings of landscapes, wildlife, water and botanicals. October 25 “Painting Nature in Watermedia” Cheap Joe's Charlotte

Learn to layer with light, color and textures to create realistic natural paintings of landscapes, wildlife, water, and botanicals. Use watermedia to the max with thin glazes and thick impasto to create depth and detail. Watercolor or acrylic/open to all levels.
Raney has been painting professionally for 25 years and opened West Jefferson’s first art gallery 14 years ago. She is Director of Cultural Arts at White Hart Woods where she is also resident artist. Rogers has taught workshops at numerous art organizations throughout the US for the past 14 years.
